Diana works the day shift from 7 am-7 pm. She was very warm and comforting to me when she came into the room. She explained everything that she was doing for my daughter not only to her before she did it, but she explained it to me as well. I cannot explain the compassion that she had caring for my daughter, It was as if my daughter was her child and she wanted the best for her.

Diana went over and above what she was required to do for my daughter. My daughter had some areas on her scalp that were irritated. Diana contacted the wound care nurse. My daughter was having issues with her blood pressure. Diana contacted the team to get assistance with that. Diana was on top of everything and ahead of the game. It is nurses like Diana who allow me to have peace that my daughter is taken care of.

Bedside manner is very important. Diana’s bedside manner and nursing care are impeccable. I would entrust all my family in her care if they were at Henry Ford Hospital. Diana’s passion for her job gives me great joy and hope for complete healing for my daughter. I pray that Diana is recognized with this award. Diana’s compassion for complete care is outstanding. Diana is an angel and I thank God for her.
