We want to thank the staff of the 6th floor for the amazing and personable care provided to my mother/sister during her lengthy hospital stay after a life-saving surgery and several complications that developed.

Specifically, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dominic Huntley for the exceptional care, compassion, and empathetic ear he showed to my mother/Sister and family during her stay. His caring, dedication, and expertise were instrumental in her care, and we are forever grateful for all that he did.

His patience and kindness did not go unnoticed. He went above and beyond to ensure that my mother/sister was comfortable, well-informed, and confident in her treatment plan, as well as keeping our family informed. His willingness to listen and address all of our concerns with empathy and understanding was truly remarkable.

Throughout this difficult time, he was a shining light, providing not only exceptional medical care but also emotional support to both my mother and our family. He could sense when one of us needed some extra attention. His reassuring presence and positive attitude gave us hope, helping us through a very challenging time.

Words cannot adequately express how thankful we are for everything Dom did. We, as a family, feel Dominic Huntley qualifies for the DAISY Award because of his excellence in nursing. We have been very fortunate to have had him caring for my mother/sister.

We are thankful to the entire staff’s dedication, their commitment to their profession, and for making a real difference in my mother/sister's and our family’s lives.
