I had a complicated hiatal hernia repair. I am a master's trained nurse from UCLA and therefore an educated and experienced critic. Dona Lovin provided nursing care for me both nights I was hospitalized. Her skills are exemplary and I feel my rapid recovery has been dependent on her excellent care. She is very bright and able to assess a situation quickly. Nothing is too much effort for her. She went the extra mile to provide superior care in every situation, never forgetting to do anything. When busy with another patient she sent another available person to help me. She followed all rules and protocols without it ever interfering with care. Dona is kind, compassionate and understanding. She also appeared to work extremely well with other staff.
