Donna L. Jensen, RN

The COVID Pandemic was a scary time for all of us. Nurses stepped up every day to care for the COVID positive—none more so than Donna Jensen. As a long-time nurse, she remained calm. She helped new nurses to be confident in their work. The training and mentoring of new nurses that she does is so valuable in this day of hybrid learning. When my parents were patients in their last years of life, I was always happy to see when Donna was working—she made them feel like they were her only patient that day. She took her time to attend to their needs, comfort their fears, and just plain visit with those old farmers for a few minutes. God bless Donna and her many years as a caring and compassionate nurse!
