I know most nurses in cardiac care units are great but I thought I would share a story about a nurse who helped me in more ways I could even explain. I recently had my 3rd open heart surgery, 3 procedures this time, 8 hours of surgery in a day. Mentally, physically and spiritually I was in need of tons of love and care. Over the last 10 days, Dorcas has provided ample amounts of care - care that have aided in all 3 categories. Her personality helped me just as much as the medicine. She helped me to curb my worry, trust and believe in the ones that need to be trusted and believed in. I owe her so much. Thanks Dorcas. The world needs more people like her.
