December 2017 Honoree
edgar munoz, RN
Edgar Munoz was our daughter's night nurse in the NICU. She was a little over a month early and was experiencing some respiratory issues after birth. As a result, she could not stay in the labor and delivery room with us and had to spend the night on oxygen in the NICU. Every time my husband or I went to visit her, we noticed something that made us feel like our daughter was being cared for in the best way possible. From coming in and seeing her with a fresh pink and purple blanket, to seeing that she was being rotated from side to side with an extra towel between her knees for comfort. My husband and I were able to rest through the night knowing that our daughter was being extremely well cared for.
Thank you, Edgar, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
