Professor Z has constantly gone above and beyond to not only educate us but empower us as student nurses.
Edy has gone out of his way to explain difficult concepts and connect with his students, and he has supported me and encouraged me when I doubted my confidence in myself. Since he was my clinical instructor in my MedSurg 1 rotations, he has continued to support and teach even though I am not his student anymore. Additionally, he goes out of his way to ask about how I am doing holistically and not just in nursing school. He has shown great care for his students, and I am grateful for the impact his mentorship has had on my nursing education.
Professor Z has constantly gone above and beyond to not only educate us but empower us as student nurses. I was lucky to be able to have him as my clinical instructor during our MedSurg 1 clinical rotations, and he always would prompt me to think about my patients' situations by asking questions but also allowing me to think out loud with him. He allowed me to be able to feel as though I was worthy of being here even when my self-doubt would creep in. He also has always made me feel as though I was able to talk to him about anything, and that continued into our MedSurg 2 class and today. I appreciate everything he has done for me, and he has allowed me to feel confident about my future as a nurse.
