Eileen is a member of HROB (High-Risk OB) transport team. On a weekend in early May, she was sent to West Greeley ED to assist with transport. Upon arrival, the patient was already 10cm dilated. Eileen helped manage the delivery, calm the provider and ER staff and walked the patient through delivery. The delivery was complicated by slow and delayed delivery of the placenta. Eileen promptly called me for over the phone assistance in completing the placental delivery. The patient, ER staff, and family were comforted by this nurse's astute care! The day after the delivery, I received a call from the ER physician voicing his great appreciation for all Eileen did to help guide a smooth delivery.
