My brother was a patient in ICU. He was in very critical condition and was not responding to any treatments being provided. My family was faced with the difficult decision of removing life support and utilizing hospice. The process that was explained to us included transferring him to another facility in order to have hospice attend to him and removing life support once the transfer was complete. This caused great concern and stress for my family. Eileen went out of her way to make arrangements so that my brother could stay in ICU and have hospice come to him. What a huge relief. Eileen's efforts allowed him to pass away peacefully and with dignity, surrounded by his family, and for that we are grateful! We are so thankful for what she did for him.
