It makes me emotional even when I think about it. I'm the most anxious patient Elaine Youmbihas ever met. In 2015 she took me on as her patient and really looked after me, every tear I shed, every problem I had, she was there full of reassurance. My mum even wrote a diary about her and how amazing she was. Moving on to 2023 my pregnancy this time has been very different. I'm slightly older, more anxious and had a very different pregnancy to my first born. I’m on blood thinners and had a series of unfortunate events thrown my way- what makes Elaine so special? The fact any time she’s there, going above and beyond to reassure me. She is the kindest, most one of a kind superhero. My friend also just had a baby and was lucky to have Elaine, she couldn’t compliment her enough about what a super woman she was - she’s thorough, patient and even answers stupid questions. I have a lot of those . I went through therapy this year because of a fear of hospitals. Elaine called the hospitals to make sure everyone looked out for me and just couldn’t be any more amazing - she’s just doing her job right? No, she’s not just doing her job, she’s impacting people’s lives more than you could ever imagine. Any lady that’s about to start their pregnancy journey will be super lucky to have Elaine.
