Eleanor Willis, RN

Eleanor is our complex children's nurse in the community. Eleanor works hard and is passionate about delivering high standards of care to all the children on her caseload. Over the years, this caseload has increased significantly, and Eleanor applied for a Roald Dahl award to pay for a nurse who can work on the ward to help coordinate discharges for children. This will be an absolutely massive benefit to families who have children with complex needs. Eleanor has worked so hard for this, and her passion and dedication to her children is amazing and it requires recognition. Having a complex needs discharge coordinator working alongside Eleanor will ensure a much smoother path for getting children home and relieve some of the pressure from Eleanor. 

I am very pleased to say that Eleanor was successful in her bid for a Roald Dahl nurse, and I could not be happier that her hard work and passion have paid off.
