I was in a horrible accident that left me with a broken hip and a body full of pain. Before my surgery, I was on the medical floor where Elisa cared for my needs. She helped me prepare for my surgery. I had pain in my elbow the night before and Elisa did something about it by cleaning my wound and putting a dressing over it. After that my pain was relieved. Her admirable spirit gave me hope to continue living despite my very own broken spirit. Elisa was sensitive to my needs and displayed the true meaning of what being a nurse represents. As a result of Elisa's compassionate care, I am moving forward in my recovery.
