Elizabeth "Liz" Hooper was fantastic from the moment she began caring for my mom. She listened to her when she talked about her pain level and assured her that her pain and feelings were valid. Liz went above and beyond by advocating for my mom to be admitted to the hospital to the doctor who was not there to see the situation on his own. She placed many phone calls and secure chat messages to advocate for my mom to be admitted, because my mom did not feel safe going home after having her procedure. Liz apologized multiple times for the long wait time, and this was something she had absolutely no control over. She stayed very late to make sure that my mom got the care she needed. It was evident that she truly cared about my mom and her comfort. She made a big difference in my mom’s care.
