Ellen goes out of her way to help anyone. A veteran was in desperate need of his medication. He came up to the Mental Health 4th floor. He got lost in the process and sat down. Ellen asked him if he was ok. He said no. He was a 76-year-old frail man that walks with a cane. He was tired, hungry, and frustrated. He got turned around and was very confused. Ellen has worked with our veterans for several years and when there is a problem, she jumps right in to resolve the problems. This veteran was in the wrong clinic but that did matter. She offered the veteran a seat and went to work. She went above and beyond to find out the vet's primary provider. After 25 minutes of searching, she was successful in locating the provider. She then walked the patient down to the pharmacy to get his meds. She is truly a trooper! Thank you, Ellen, for your dedication and your service to our veterans!
