Our first experience at the hospital was scary, so coming back here was difficult. Once our mother was admitted to the hospital after she visited the ER my family was tense and uncomfortable with the decision. However, once she was taken up to her room, we were all pleasantly surprised with the attention that was placed on her care. Her nurse Emar has been amazing. He is always available for our needs or concerns. He's always ready with a plan of care update, and he makes it a point to stop by and check on us even when we have not requested anything of the sort. He made us feel comfortable and safe, which in turn made us feel like our mom was safe and cared for. Not only did we feel it, but my mom's level of comfort in sending us home to rest also showed us that she felt safe and cared for as well. Emar made all the difference in this hospital stay and possibly even changed our minds about this place. We will forever be grateful for the care and concern shown for my mother's health and progress during this stay.
