Emily is the kind of nurse that others should strive to be.
My husband was admitted for extreme back pain to the point of immobilization. Emily entered our room with such a bright smile and kind disposition and rapidly proved that she is one of the best nurses that I have ever dealt with.
Although I was not the patient, she exceeded my expectations and assured that we had everything we needed to make us as comfortable as possible. She has advocated for my husband when his pain has been debilitating and made sure that he received the best pain relief possible. Emily is the kind of nurse that others should strive to be. Her patience and attention have made this unexpected stay as comfortable as possible. She has quite literally held my husband's head up when he was unable to do so to take his meds, and she is an asset to this hospital. She is not only kind but well trained and extremely knowledgeable. She answered every question in a way that we understood and has never made us feel like a burden. Emily has proven that she cares about her patients and will do what is necessary to make them as comfortable as possible.
My gratitude for her is boundless, and if I could, I would plant her an entire field of daisies. She is the epitome of what a nurse should be, and I trust she will be recognized as such.
