She brings such joy to my daughter when she's around. Emily's compassion, caring, and devotion to her patients is remarkable.
My 3 yr old daughter was hospitalized for about a week due to a severe virus. It was such a rollercoaster of emotions as we waited for answers. Through all of it, Emily was always so caring and compassionate with my daughter. She was always nice and explained everything thoroughly and always made sure any doubts or questions I had were answered. My daughter was always happy to see her. It was her highlight of the day. She grew a special bond with Emily and would only smile and interact with her. She always ensured that our stay here was as comfortable as possible. She left a huge imprint on my daughter's life as well as mine. Because of such loving, devoted, and caring nurses like Emily, families, and patients get a better experience regardless of the length or reason of stay. We love Emily so much. We most definitely spoke about her and what an amazing nurse she is at the St. Jude hospital! We came back and we couldn't help but ask about her. Once again, she walked into the room and my daughter automatically clicked with her. She brings such joy to my daughter when she's around. Emily's compassion, caring, and devotion to her patients is remarkable. She would definitely be an amazing superhero for my daughter. She goes above and beyond her duty. Emily definitely is not just any nurse. She's a rockstar nurse with a very noble heart. She has made a huge impression on us. A nurse who will and does go beyond the normal nurse duties.

Emily has been with us since S was first diagnosed with leukemia. When he’s feeling terrible and just not in the best mood, he will see Emily and instantly has a smile on his face and he still only does that for her. We don’t know what we would do without her and we are more than thankful to have her in our life.
