Emily Job is a nurse in the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center ER who impacted a patient’s sister during her time in the hospital. The patient suffered an emergency and was rushed to the ER for treatment. Once the patient’s sister arrived, Emily took the time to update her on everything that had happened since the patient was admitted. Not only did Emily take excellent care of her patient clinically, but she also made an effort to reassure the patient’s sister. The patient’s sister said that she could see that Emily cared for her brother and all of her patients. She spoke to him, calmed him, joked with him, told him what she was doing, and made him feel safe and cared for. Fort Sanders Regional should be very proud to have Emily on their team.
