Emily is so truly special and unique for a lot of reasons. She was by far the most sincere and caring individual I've dealt with in labor before and I've had 5. She always kept a great attitude and smile. She made me feel so comfortable and at home. It made the actual delivery 10 times easier and relaxing. She is absolutelya loving person, who you can tell really enjoys what she does. She is definitely in the right "field" of work. I believe God links everyone in some sort of way, and I definitely believe he got it right this time. Emily went above and beyond for me for my comfort and for my new addition. At times I was stating, "I can't do this" and I would hear her soft tone reassuring me, "You've got this, breathe." Even with her long shift that night into the early morning, her attitude, smile, and comfort never left. I truly feel as if I made a friend.
I've recently just relocated from Nebraska and wasn't feeling too confident when I first arrived. But all the great teamwork, midwife, nurses, and CNAs had all my doubts and fears fade. Thank you for that. Thank you for the compassion, caring, and sincerity. Emily is a travel nurse and has probably seen lots of different life situations. She still has chosen to remain positive and shine brightly for all to see. You are a true DAISY Nurse.
