She is constantly thinking of how to improve processes that impact the employee experience to positively impact the patient experience.
Emily is an employee health nurse. As that sounds perhaps uninteresting as compared to Trauma and ER, Emily keeps us, the staff at ANTHC healthy. She has unbelievable patience, answering our daily questions on the daily scenarios that used to be easy to solve, but now with COVID, RSV, etc, it feels like we have to check in so often to keep our employees healthy. Emily always greets our questions and issues with a smile!
Emily is also very driven to recognize when her colleagues and others have a need for assistance, takes the time to gather the information needed. She is constantly thinking of how to improve processes that impact the employee experience to positively impact the patient experience. She strives to make sure everyone has a brighter day. We are fortunate to have Emily on the care team at ANMC!

Emily brings a smile to my face every time I see her and ANMC is lucky to have such a dedicated and delightful nurse. Emily works in Employee Health but does not limit herself to her department. She comes up to visit the physicians and staff, she stays up to date on people's lives and shows genuine concern. Who nurses the nurse when they are sick, Emily does. She kept us all going, through the height of the pandemic, through just a regular sick call, Emily keeps us nurses healthy and happy, and is willing to go the extra mile. We love you, Emily.
