I am an employee here at Henry Ford Allegiance Health but my nomination comes also as a family member of a patient who was here in January. I received a call that my family member was not doing well and to come to the hospital. Emily was the nurse caring for my family member. When I entered the room, the staff was getting ready to transfer my family member to another unit. His physician later shared with me what a fantastic job Emily did during a very stressful time, and that Emily didn't miss a beat and was on top of what needed to be done. Emily is an exceptional nurse and was also very compassionate towards me during this very stressful time. We had an excellent outcome with my family member because of the wonderful care he received.
