Emily was my labor and delivery nurse the day of my scheduled induction. She was immediately friendly and receptive to my Birthing Plan. Never did I feel questioned by her and my choices. Emily always took care of me and our baby who was on the way. She didn't mind allowing my family in the labor and delivery room and welcomed them to watch our child's first bath.
Just before our baby was delivered, I was ready for Emily to deliver him if the doctor didn't make it. She made me as comfortable as she could and gave me care and encouragement. This continued as she cared for our baby and me in Postpartum.
What stands out, even more, is how Emily works to build relationships with her patients. We came back a few weeks later for my sister to give birth and were able to reconnect with Emily. Then, again, a couple years later when my brother and sister-in-law had their first. This goes above and beyond any nurse experience we've ever had. And we hope we get to have Emily with our next one this summer!
