Emma was our nurse for about 90% of the time we were there, and she was awesome.
Emma was just such a delight and she helped me from the time the pain started till the time I held my baby. She was just wonderful. So caring and funny. She made my stay better for sure.

My wife was scheduled for and received an induction. Emma was our nurse for about 90% of the time we were there, and she was awesome. She made sure we knew what was going on every step of the way; she was super helpful, and most importantly she was cheerful and upbeat through the whole experience. The part that really stood out was when it was almost time for delivery, she stayed so calm and collected. It really helped both of us. Several other people started delivery around the same time, I guess, so the midwife was busy, and the whole time they were looking for a doctor or another provider, she kept the room cool, she was cheerful and confident, and it was the perfect energy to have in the room. She seemed ready to do the whole thing herself if she needed to. She was clearly a little relieved when the doctor came in, but you wouldn’t have known that she was nervous a second before he showed up. She really helped make what could have been a much more difficult experience much easier, and we were both thankful she was in the room!

From the moment we were admitted, Emma went out of her way to make me comfortable. She explained what she needed to do but allowed me to make the decision. Labor can be terrifying for first-time moms, but I felt respected and well cared for. She has a great sense of humor, and she also tended to and anticipated every need. I felt as if I was being treated by family and was not just another patient to her. I cannot thank her enough for her care during such a challenging time in my life. I had 3 nurses that went above and beyond while I was there to have my first baby. They were very helpful and so kind which is what I needed during this sensitive and new time for me. I will forever be grateful for them being there for me as they did.
