Erica Locke, RN

Erica exemplifies what it means to be a leader in every possible way. Her enthusiasm and engagement with our staff and patients are contagious. She is here to support and remove barriers so our employees can provide exceptional patient care. Erica understands how important recognition is and has created the Compassionate Hands Award for PCTs. The idea is similar to DAISY but solely for our PCTs, who are honored for the care they deliver to our patients by their peers.

In addition, she is a creator and a driver of change. Erica has been instrumental in driving mobility scores and reducing falls in our department. She explains the "why" to our staff so they understand how it correlates to improved patient outcomes.

Erica completes many other tasks daily to ensure department operations run smoothly. She has been a mentor to me as I transitioned from Assistant Nurse Manager to Manager. I truly cannot say enough good things about her!
