My wife was induced on Monday and we had the pleasure of meeting Erica. So after 53 hours of labor, my wife is one of those people that never asked for anything. Erica was our induction nurse the first day and two days later she found our room to check on us. Keep in mind, that she is not our nurse at the time. She asked how my wife was feeling and fixed several things for her.

Erica also let her know that we could request a C-section which may have saved the lives of both my wife and our daughter. In the few feet from our room to the OR, my wife crashed! She was not our nurse or an active nurse but she took the extra time to see us and save both their lives. If that does not warrant this DAISY Award I don't know what does!
