I’m the patient’s mom. This would have been my daughter’s worst nightmare (more than it already was) without the care, sympathy, and compassion that Erin gave to her. P was pregnant with her first child, when out of nowhere the baby’s heart just stopped beating. Since P was 17 weeks along, she unfortunately had to deliver her daughter, knowing she would never take a breath. The delivery was incredibly scary and traumatizing for P. She ended up delivering on the toilet, her nurse, Erin, was so amazing during this time, as she knelt on the floor in front of P holding the baby, having to wait for more help, she never stopped reassuring P.
