Erin recently took care of 2 siblings who were trauma patients. One of the patients was in critical condition and Erin recognized that his brother, who was the other patient, may never see him again. She arranged for their stretchers to be moved alongside each other so that the less critical patient could see and hold his brother's hand.
Additionally, she was able to assist in caring for a pet that was of concern to one of the patients. Erin not only took great "medical" care of these patients but also recognized the emotional care needed. She unselfishly gave of herself to take care of their pet. Erin also made timely notification to Trans life and ultimately several organs were harvested from the patient who did not survive.
