Esperanza was very helpful and knowledgeable when setting out my medication and discussing the implications and side effects related to each medication and my health. She was influential in my determination to take better care of myself and set up a better medication regimen to improve my health. While she appeared to be under a very heavy workload at the time, she handled this moment with humor and patience. I discussed with my wife how she clearly was one of the bright spots in my stay at the Emergency Room and almost single-handedly was determinative of the feelings we both took from what we felt was a life-altering experience. Her further discussions with my pharmacy and follow-up with my wife and I were above and beyond the call of duty and we would like to nominate her for this award.
