I was admitted to the 3rd floor with blood clots and the discovery of a mass which triggered many tests and blood thinners. My wife and I had many questions and were overwhelmed with so much information. But EJ Lee was our nurse. She calmly and patiently explained everything that was happening. If she didn't know the answer she told us she would find out. Sure enough, she returned with the answers and helped us frame questions for the doctors. Our son's girlfriend was visiting. She wants to become a nurse. All of us felt that EJ was the perfect role model. You should be glad EJ works for Nebraska Medicine. She provided us with excellent care, compassion, and information during a stressful time. Everyone we encountered gave us great care, but EJ went above and beyond to help us. Thank you, EJ.
