My dad recently underwent AGV (Eye surgery). Fergal offered all the comfort measures to make sure that my father is ok. He pays attention to small details, for example, he brought him a warm blanket when he noticed that my dad was feeling cold.
He also noticed that my dad was constantly rubbing his eyes, and when he found out that he was in pain, he got him a pain killer.
I feel that Fergal has a special way of communicating with patients. This makes not only the patient but also the family feel safe, secure and reassured.

Fergal was helpful, kind and very polite in handling all the devices attached to my body, like the IV, the blood pressure cuff, and wound dressings. He also offered me food and drinks and asked if I am able to eat independently or need help. All in all, he was very helpful and I would rate him as an excellent nurse.
