I came into the hospital not really knowing what was wrong with me. I was scared and weepy. The nurses, including Florence, assured me that everything was going to be alright. Her kindness, warmth, and empathy were amazing. She was very attentive and patient with me and my fears. After my diagnosis, she helped to keep me calm and assured me that they were there to take care of me until I get better. I don’t think I could’ve gotten through all the tests, scans, and needlesticks without her!
