Gabriel treated me with such respect. Me, an 80-year-old bald lady with ovarian cancer. He connected with me and my family on all levels; taking time with the simplest questions to the more complicated. He explained what was going on with my heart. Even drawing pictures for more clarity. I felt safe and comfortable with this very young man, to the point I had him help me with the hospital nightgown ties. Not like me! I would usually wait for family or a woman nurse. He heard me. Always listening with compassion. Making eye contact so I knew he was listening. He would sit when there was an empty chair. Maybe he couldn't stay long, but I knew he was preparing to hear me.
Gabriel is an incredible young man. He is extremely compassionate. Whatever he chooses, he will be most successful.
