September 2012 Honoree
gary jury, RN
Gary was the ultimate caregiver during my father's twelve day stay in Kaiser Walnut Creek. He was patient (my father is extremely hard of hearing), cheerful, and very encouraging as he administered care during my father's recovery from a fall and infection. He was genuinely concerned about my father's comfort as he dealt with his injuries and a fever as high as 103. I am convinced that my father's recovery (he is now completing physical, occupational and speech therapy) is at least partially due to Gary's caring and positive approach to his patients. In fact, some of my dad's first words following recovery from the infection were "Where is Gary?" Please honor Gary's dedication with a DAISY Award.
Thank you, Gary, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
