Georgette Ison went above and beyond to connect on a personal level. We shared some family stories and laughed. Even when I was not her assigned patient, she helped me. Once she disconnected my IV in the hall while walking with PT. Once she gave me a shower when not assigned to me. She did her job seriously and took pride in her work. When Georgette asked, 'What else can I do for you?' I knew she meant it.
