Haley went above and beyond caring for a veteran in our unit. She was floated here from Med Surg to help us out due to staffing. She took it upon herself to make sure her patient got the best care possible. She helped ambulate them multiple times, assisted with feeding, dressing, bed changes, and just listening at the bedside. This patient was awaiting placement and was scared and lonely. She spent the entire day making sure he did not feel alone or abandoned, listening, and talking about anything the patient wanted to discuss.
