I went into labor with my first baby around 2 pm. I came into the hospital the next day around 8 pm. After many hours of back labor and pain, Halie was comforting throughout this scary process. She assisted my husband with counterpressure until he was born, which was no easy task. She stayed by my side the entire time. She made sure to explain everything that was happening to me and make me feel supported. She followed my birth plan and gave me the birth I dreamed of with only the help of nitrous oxide instead of an epidural. She helped me experience the Golden Hour after delivery, which allowed me to bond with my new baby. Part of my birth plan was to have pictures taken throughout the delivery process. I have so many pictures to look back on because of her. She truly is an amazing labor and delivery nurse. Every baby she delivers is met with love and compassion. I wish every laboring mom could have her on their side and experience the love and support that she provides throughout the process.
