I am a retired Army Physician Assistant. I have cared for many patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I have also been a patient in many different hospitals, some in foreign countries. Dell Seton at UT is an incredible team, each helping the other, but one nurse stood out as exceptional. Hannah provided me with the best care I have ever received. She performed detailed assessment exams, asked insightful questions, and had amazing critical care nursing skills. I'm a complex patient with Addison's disease and injury. She made me feel comfortable that she understood my complexity and I was able to focus on healing, and not worry about dying from an adrenal crisis when she was on shift. I am grateful for her clinical care, but she also interacts well with family, making us all laugh - best medicine.
