My Dad suffered a massive stroke recently. After spending time in the Neuro ICU, he arrived on the 7th floor. Haylee was incredible since the first moment we met her. She was patient with our questions and many concerns. She was so attentive to our Dad and always looked for ways to make him more comfortable. She went above and beyond to get a wound bed to help combat back pain, and it made a difference. My Dad finally passed the video swallow test on his third try. For thirty-three days, he was tube-fed, and he had been asking for a chocolate malt. The day he was able to try eating, Haylee made a “chocolate malt” for him even though she was not assigned to him. Her thoughtfulness will be remembered for a long time. Thank you, Haylee!”
