My friend was on the unit for three weeks and he was usually not easy to help. She handled his cantankerousness with grace and calm. It was amazing. During that time, I saw her advocating for patients and caring for family members. She was checking in and making sure I had a good support system while my friend was losing his battle. She is a true gem and I don’t know how I would have gotten through without her grace and kindness. One of a kind!
