I am compelled to nominate Heather for the DAISY Award. I do not have one particular story that reflects the values of the DAISY Award, but each time I work with her she exemplifies kindness, patience, compassion, and clinical expertise toward patients in her care. She is an excellent role model during her interactions with medical staff. Her communication is clear, focused, and confident. Although she is a float, she is consistently prepared for discharge rounds. When Heather is caught up, she always offers to help other staff. She is an RN that Glens Falls Hospital can depend on to do the right thing.
