Professor Knouff is a great teacher. She is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Did I mention I love her lectures? She is a prime example of what a nursing school instructor should be. She is my role model as a future nurse.

Heather Knouff is an amazing educator. Not only is she concerned if you truly understand the objectives, she takes the time with each and every one of her students to review any areas that may be of concern to the student. It's obvious that she researches new and effective ways of presenting information to students that will help them better understand more difficult material as well. I am a visual learner, whereas another student may have a different style of learning. Heather reaches all types of learners and makes the class extremely interesting and fun at the same time. I, as well as others, appreciates how she addresses previous lecture material before every class to be certain everyone has an understanding of what was previously discussed before we move on to another subject. I believe that's huge. I can honestly say I've never seen anyone put so much heart and soul into something they are passionate about as she has shown us through her teaching style, her compassion for students and her desire to become a better educator every session. If it hadn't been for Heather Knouff, I would have left school shortly after I began. She helped me see that if I put my mind to something, anything was possible. She helped me realize that not every day will be a good day, but we all just have to pick ourselves up and keep pushing forward to achieve our goals. I will be forever thankful that she has walked this journey with me, but more importantly, I am thankful for her caring guidance and her support.
