Heather V. Trinh, RN

Heather was my nurse. I knew she was special from the moment she transported me from the ED to my room. She has a passion for her work and an infectious personality. I was happy she was my nurse because I was already impressed with her. Throughout my stay as a patient, she attended me three times and she proved her professionalism, competence and compassion each time. During the course of treatment, she learned my son had recently passed away and I was distraught by my loss and also with having to be in the hospital with a chronic heart condition. When three other nurses could not find a vein for an IV, Heather found a vein, followed it up my arm before sticking me and then got it the first time. She also noted it was my birthday and organized the nurses to sign "Happy Birthday" and sign a card for me. She brought me a fruit plate even though it was her day off. She was and is a life saver!
