I was diagnosed with "Neuroendocrine Tumor" in 2017; I have been getting my treatment journey at the King Hussein Cancer Center for six years. I want to extend my warmest thanks to all the nurses and other healthcare team members at the King Hussein Cancer Center for their outstanding efforts to support patients and their families. I firmly believe that this specialized cancer center has many DAISY Nurses, and Heba from the adult chemotherapy unit is one of them. She is a competent, knowledgeable, and caring nurse.

My medical treatment started with a monthly hormonal injection "Somatuline" at the adult chemotherapy unit. Heba was the first nurse assigned to my case. She gave me the injection and never hurt me. She always explained what she was doing and promptly addressed my concerns. I kept asking for her every time I took my injection. She provided me with extraordinary care during difficult times. Her response to the patient in need is marvelous. She stands out because of her great personality and compassionate patient care. 

No words can describe the care she provided to me. She cared for me as a member of her family. Her kindness, patience, and knowledge were above and beyond! 

Again, I would like to thank every single staff involved in my care, but Heba needs special recognition. She is a compassionate nurse! She's an example of exactly who a DAISY Nurse is.
