I had a hip replacement at University Medical Center at Princeton at Plainsboro. Heesoo Hong was my nurse upon my arrival for 2 day shifts during my stay. On my second day at the hospital I was given oxycodone and immediately had a very sensitive reaction to it. I was so sick I couldn't turn my head. Heesoo was with me throughout the day administering anti-nausea medications and encouraging me that I would feel better soon. It took 7 hours before I felt better. Heesoo was very kind, patient and compassionate to me during this ordeal. Although I know she was busy with other patients she was by my side. I have had at least 20 surgeries in my life and I believe she went above and beyond to help me get through surgery and on to recovery.
