Heliry and I share a love of cats. During my hospitalization, I had a 19 1/2-year-old cat in renal failure and in hospice care with my sister. I was extremely worried about possibly losing her (my cat) during my hospitalization. Heliry, being a cat-lover too, would remind me daily to call home and to check on Cali (my cat). Heliry not only took care of my physical being, but she took care of my emotional well-being also. Heliry reassured me that it was ok to feel concerned and sad. We shared animal stories together, which lightened my heart. I am very grateful - Heliry's generosity, caring, compassion, and attention to the "human side" of caring were very much appreciated.
