Hong Megan Nguyen is a rock star. She collaborates and is willing to help. Megan is outstanding. She works well with others, is compassionate and understanding of the issues our unique population has. She exemplifies a DAISY nurse.
Megan always has a smile on her face and is polite and pleasant to patients and staff. I wish I could hire her full time. She is such an asset. I found a chart where Megan did the best documentation on medication reconciliation that I have seen to date. She documented how she involved the patient and family to ensure that the list was accurate. She has handled stroke patients that are transferred out to a higher level of care better than any of the other contract nurses and some of our regular staff. Again, she involved the family in the process and kept them informed of the transition of care.
