My father was repeatedly hospitalized; by his fourth visit, we were nervous and on edge often, unfortunately. During his fourth visit, something incredible happened. Ian Liffmann (and others) was there laughing with us, listening intently and waiting ever so patiently until everyone felt safe, happy, and comfortable. Ian explained things to us, checked on us often and proactively and most of all, treated my dad with respect, humor, and with the utmost kind care.

My dad could be blunt and tricky, but Ian never wavered with his patience. My dad, brother, mom, and husband all looked forward to the days Ian worked because we looked forward to his compassion, his endless patience, the silly jokes, and his deep respect for my dad’s modesty. He clearly went above and beyond from the time he spent with us to the questions asked and answered. There was truly a superstar in Ian. Thank you.
