Inpatient Nursing Team

My son was a patient on Unit 5B three times, each time for a month, for chemotherapy and treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The entire nursing staff of 5B was amazing. Every nurse was so friendly and caring, as well as knowledgeable. The Charge Nurses came by every day to see if there was anything they could help with. The Nurse Manager was always present. If there was ever an issue, I knew I could go to her. Everyone always made us feel welcome and at home. Unit 5B truly became a home-away-from-home for the 3 months we were there. The staff truly became like family, and I was genuinely sad when we were discharged. I cannot say enough positive things about the 5B Hem/Onc nurses. This unit is amazing!
