In life, there are people who can be the thermostat in the room, rather than the thermometer - and Iris is one of those people. The unique ability to make a change to the temperature and needs of the room, not just notice them! She has grace, skill, and such compassion as a nurse! I was struggling after having my first c-section, and Iris was able to assess my needs in a way that I truly felt heard and understood and advocated with skill on behalf of my wishes and concerns. I’m not sure how I would have made it through that morning (and the following days) without her. Anyone can physically care for someone, but it takes a truly special person to care about someone. My family and I had a quality healthcare experience because of Iris, and were truly grateful. She deserves a million daisies for making such a difference to our little family, and I’m sure everyone who is blessed to be cared for by her.
