It is never easy watching a loved one, let alone your life partner, in pain. This was one of the hardest things I'll ever go through, but Iryna's kindness, patience, compassion, and understanding gave me, A, and my mother-in-law strength to push through.

A's labor went opposite of our birth plan due to complications, but Iryna answered all our questions and gave us confidence we were doing the right thing. When my wife's pain became unbearable, Iryna advocated and fought for her comfort even on such a busy night. In the end, I have a healthy wife and the most perfect, healthy daughter, M, thanks to Iryna. Even when she wasn't assigned to us, she checked in multiple times and made us feel protected. We were blessed to have her on our final night at Essentia.

M was/is a very particular girl and A had gotten very little sleep during our stay. This made the night exhausting and difficult, but Iryna was able to walk us through our emotions and place confidence in us once again, making the night comforting and manageable. Essentia and every patient who is matched with Iryna is and will be blessed with an unseen level of comfort and care! Thank you, Iryna!
